Last Friday two New York institutions got together in the name of charcuterie. The Upper West Side’s Zabar’s played host to the 76 year old Upper East Side staple, Schaller & Weber. The selections of the day were Black Forest Ham and our Lachsschinken. Both delicacies were right at home with Zabar’s extensive deli counter, and of course their legendary smoked salmon, with which Lachsschinken shares a flavor profile.
