Fried Bologna Sandwich

Maybe it was the first day of the year making me nostalgic for bygone lunches, or maybe it was the bologna beckoning to me from inside my fridge. Sliced, fried, and then incorporated into what was otherwise a fairly basic recipe for grilled cheese, the bologna made for a poignant midday meal, a reminiscent melty-cheesy note on a day intended for initiatives. Oh, and as for resolutions? Eat–and enjoy–as much delicious meat as my coronary system will healthfully allow.
